CFA Society Dayton is delighted to invite you to our annual Economic Forecast Dinner as we welcome a Fixed Income Strategist from PGIM Fixed Income, a Merger Arbitrage Specialist, with Virtus Investment Partners, an SMID Specialist from Brown Advisory, and a General Economist with First Trust Advisors, LP.

James Meyers, CFA©, Principal at PGIM Fixed Income.

James Meyers, CFA, is a principal and portfolio strategist for PGIM Fixed Income. James is responsible for providing financial advisors and their clients with
detailed insight into the investment process, sector allocation and security selection strategy, and risk management framework for PGIM Fixed Income managed
portfolios. He also provides financial advisors and their clients with the current market outlook, tactical positioning, and strategic views of PGIM Fixed Income
investment teams.  Before joining PGIM Fixed Income in 2018, James was the head of
fixed income ETF strategy for PowerShares by Invesco. Previously, he was a multi-sector
portfolio manager at Hartford Investment Management Company managing fixed income portfolios for institutional clients, retail funds, and internal general account
mandates. Earlier in his career, James spent five years as a fixed income and FX investment strategist for Citigroup Smith Barney, focused on retail and private bank
clients. Prior positions held by James include fixed income index analyst and fixed income portfolio assistant.
 James received a BS in finance and management from the Stern
Undergraduate School of Business at New York University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the Stamford Society of
Security Analysts.

Jody Harris-Stern, Managing Director, Client Portfolio Manager, Strategic Accounts

Westchester Capital Management, LLC

Jody Harris is a managing director and client portfolio manager for strategic accounts at Westchester Capital Management, LLC, an investment management affiliate of Virtus Investment Partners. In this role, Ms. Harris represents Westchester’s alternative investment portfolios, including mutual funds, separate accounts, and hedge funds to institutional investors, sub-advisory partners, and key accounts nationally. Ms. Harris joined Westchester in 2010 from Southridge LLC, where she was chief marketing officer. Prior to
Southridge, she held senior management positions at UBS, specializing in business development, marketing, and investor relations. She began her career at Zweig Advisers.
Ms. Harris earned a B.A. in business and economics from Saint Michael’s College. She began working in the investment industry in 1997.

Noah Helm, Senior Vice president at First Trust Portfolios, LLC

Noah is a Senior Vice President of Institutional Investments at First Trust Advisors L.P. He has been with First Trust for 15 years and is responsible for Institutional Business Development in the Central Midwest region. In this role, Noah delivers the First Trust suite of products and services to institutions, RIAs, family offices, foundations, and independent asset managers. Noah and his team rely heavily on thought leadership from First Trust’s award-winning Economics Team. Before joining First Trust’s RIA & Institutional Team, Noah spent time in New Product Development, Research, Trading, and Economics. Noah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Economics from Wheaton College (IL).

Sean Erb, CFA©, Principal, Brown Advisory

Sean Erb, CFA©, is a Principal and Small- and Mid-Cap Investment Specialist at Brown Advisory. In his role, Sean works closely with the investment team to provide clients with timely insights, analysis, and the latest thinking on the firm’s strategies and the small- and mid-cap asset class.  Prior to joining Brown Advisory, Sean spent seven years at T. Rowe Price within the Investment Specialist Group, where he supported the firm’s small- and mid-cap equity platform. Earlier in his career, Sean held a variety of roles within the investment management industry, spanning investment manager research, financial planning, institutional sales, and operations.  Sean earned a BS in Finance and Information Systems from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park. Sean also has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of the CFA Society Baltimore.
